GARBAGE AND YARDWASTE Stickers are available at the City Hall and at Shelton's Grocery.

Pickup appliances, etc. call Johnson County Refuse

Get one 33 gal/40 lb trash taken by hauler, if have more must buy refuse tag for each 33 gal/40 lb container

 

Two recycling bins are for each house.  Green bin is for paper and yellow bin is everything else.

 

Library Cards

Participant buys card at library and city reimburses them up to $30 per card

 

Can only have 2 cards per family maximum that city will reimburse.  Put their names on list of  bill when they want to get reimbursed

 

Sewer and Refuse/Recycle Billing

Billed every quarter and due beginning of next month or $5 penalty will be charged

Residential

            Sewer is $30 per month, for the quarter is                $90.00

            Refuse/Recycle is $9.50 per month, quarter is          $28.50

                                     Total bill is                         $118.50

Commercial

            Sewer is $49.50 per month, for the quarter is $99.00

            Plus Sales Tax                                               8.91

                                    Total bill is                        $157.41

 

NO CITY WATER-everyone has their own or shared wells.
