The University of Iowa DeGowin Blood Center is looking for eligible donors to come donate at the Swisher Community Blood Drive. This blood will help meet the needs of the patients at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics and UI Stead Family Children's Hospital.  Due to high usage, there is a special need of O positive and O negative blood donors, however, all types are welcome.  The drive is scheduled for Tuesday, December 14th and will go from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Swisher American Legion Hall.  Successful donors will receive a pair of "I Bleed Black & Gold" socks as a thank you for donating!
