The Swisher Community Library is hiring to fill the Position of:
Temporary Student Intern
April 1, 2026, to August 15, 2026
The Student Intern will work under the direct supervision of the Library Director and in collaboration with other staff and the Junior Advisory Board. Duties will be in summer programming for kids and tweens, including arts and crafts and STEM activities and other duties as assigned. Must be comfortable with computers and collaborating with patrons of all ages.
The position will be for 6-8 hours a week from April 1 to August 15.

The Swisher Community Library is hiring to fill the Position of:
Library Clerk, Part-time On-call
Position is 6-8 hours per week plus on-call as needed working at the Swisher Library. Hours will include evenings and every other Saturday morning.
Main Duties will include
· Working the circulation desk, including checking materials in and out
· Answering patron question both in person and on the phone
· Shelving materials
· Opening and closing the building as needed
· Provide back-up for the Director as needed, including opening and closing the building, serving patrons, and maintaining library services.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· Must be comfortable with computers
· Comfortable working with patrons of all ages.
· Should be capable of light lifting, stooping and bending.
